The care and treatment of the child's diseases essentially differ from those of adults. For there are anatomic, physiological, morphological, emotional and immunological immaturities of a child that define features of development and outcomes of their diseases. All this necessitates knowledge of children's physical, and psychological development for the patient's care and diseases prevention which of is the basic of our medical services.
Our Department of Pediatrics promotes the health of premature infants, full-term newborns, toddlers, children and adolescents. We treat complex medical diseases while at the same time providing basic general pediatric care. We build partnerships with our patients and families, keeping them at the center of decision-making, supporting and educating them. For we believed that only by promoting patient- and family-centered care, can children's health best be served.
Our Residency Program through our outstanding training program prepares future successful pediatrician who advocate for the health and care of children, and who engage in lifelong learning and service. |
