Physical medicine and rehabilitation department in An-Kang branch was founded in 2014. The region of out-patient clinic was located at 2nd floor. In the clinic, there is a musculoskeletal ultrasound machine which can provide detail images for doctors to do diagnosis and local injection. The region of rehabilitation center (about 340 m2) was located at 3rd floor with commodious and bright rooms. There are two full-time attending physicians and two adjunct attending physicians. Doctors in our department all received comprehensive and practical training courses from medical centers in Taiwan. We also have 9 physical therapists, 3 occupational therapists and one speech therapist. We provide rehabilitation evaluations and programs. From 2014 to 2022, we have served more than 120,000 patients in out-patient clinic. Our treatment items include stroke rehabilitation, low back pain, cervical pain, musculoskeletal disorders, sport injuries, orthosis fabrication, language disorders, swallowing training, musculoskeletal ultrasound examination, ultrasound-guided local injection, hyaluronic acid injection, prolotherapy and extracorporeal shock wave therapy.
